Hi Kmyle thanks for talking to 6AM how are you?
Hello, thank you for your invitation, Everything is fine for me , and especially when I talk about my projects!
Your upcoming project Metamorphose sounds truly captivating, drawing inspiration from the transformative journey of a butterfly. Can you tell us more about how you translated this concept into your music and what listeners can expect from each chapter?
Music for me is above all a journey, a story and a representation by pictures of emotions.
To transcribe this concept in this EP , I tried to interpret each "evolution of the butterfly" as a technoid journey.
Each chapter is built in the manner of an abstract film using very specific sounds, sometimes with harder grooves , sometimes with a sound design element to raise up the emotion , But while remaining in a process of suggestion.
Indeed I do not tease the listeners with a direction that forces his thought or his opinion, everyone is free to interpret and appropriate every detail .
This is what listeners can expect from each chapter.
The first chapter, ECLOSION, is set for release soon. Could you walk us through the themes and emotions behind these five tracks? What kind of atmosphere are you aiming to create for your audience?
The first chapter is already out, but for those who have not yet listened, I do not want to spoil what they will hear, but through the image of the physical transformation of the butterfly I invite them to a deep introspective and to be guided through a mesmerizing and captivating enveloping wave ...
The second chapter, CHRYSALIS, is described as deepening the immersive experience. How do you envision this chapter building upon the themes introduced in ECLOSION? And are there any particular musical elements or techniques you're excited for listeners to experience?
Regarding the suite "Chrysalis" that will be available in 2 weeks,
In the first track "Locked nymphs" I tried to transcribe what fury and energy the butterfly could come out of the chrysalis, like a birth, with troubled emotions directed by the strange melody and the hard character of the percussions. In "mutations" the synths are completely crazy and the rhythmic which evolves in an unexpected way represents a certain mutation.
The listening continues with "Chrysalis Methods" where we arrive with something more oriented, more frank elements, while keeping a certain tension and excitement, we, therefore, feel a constant evolution. To finish with "Saumuros" on an idea that I would describe as a more "mature stage ", with emotions that have taken the time to grow. But all this remains within a framework of suggestion and interpretation of the listener .
As we await the third and final chapter, OCELLUS, could you give us a glimpse into what awaits us in terms of musical evolution and narrative closure? How does this chapter tie together the journey of the butterfly and the overarching message of Metamorphose?
in this third part, we arrive at the end of a journey. I particularly emphasized the emotion side and sound atmospheres . The idea here was to be able to show both birth and death, a cycle that binds us all to the same, as the butterfly stories . the symbolism was really important to me, in "watermark" it is also a personal thoughts that I deliver .
Can you share some insights into your creative process and how you aimed to evoke these emotions throughout the project? What do you hope listeners will take away from experiencing this musical odyssey?
When I produce music, I try to transcribe my most intimate emotions and I enter in a certain "hypnotic mass" which allows me to subtly deliver my sound's elements , because for me , every sonic detail is important .
as I said I try to build a subjective work, and the listener will be the master , so I left "emotionals " clues in all the pieces throughout the journey, but it is up to you to pay attention or to write your own story .
Thanks so much for your time is there anything else you’d like to add?
" Merci beaucoup " for your listening, I can’t wait to give all this music to people , see you :) Sam .
