DGTL Announces ADE Programming Featuring Three Consecutive Parties at the Scheepsbouwloods

DGTL have just announced their long-awaited schedule and lineup for Amsterdam Dance Event 2017, consisting of three consecutive parties at their regular hangout, the NDSM Docklands.

On headline duties on Thursday are Russian hero Nina Kraviz and mad musicians Modeselektor. Friday and Saturday will see Paradise and Kompakt take over with label bosses Michael Mayer and Jamie Jones inviting Dubfire, Apollonia, Gui Boratto and Apparat to join them on top of the bill for their respective label nights.

The making of a stellar lineup is combining the old with the new, the heavyweights with the young talents: a skill that the team at DGTL has mastered and will show on their first day when Nina Kraviz and Modeselektor are joined in the first area by Âme, Jon Hopkins and De School’s Oceanic. The second area will be the domain of residents Ryan Elliott, De Sluwe Vos and Fort Romeau.

Paradise is back for round three after two successful edition where they have proven their ability to take everybody to cloud nine. Familiar faces Richy Ahmed, Patrick Topping, Andrea Oliva, Detlef and the boss himself Jamie Jones are accompanied by DGTL x Paradise first-timers Dubfire, Apollonia, Matador, Peggy Gou and Lauren Lane.

After four sold-out editions of DGTL x Kompakt, the label from Cologne returns for what is bound to be another memorable event. Michael Mayer will play b2b with good friend Patrice Bäumel. More musical ingenuity comes from Weval [live], Pachanga Boys, Danny Daze, Locked Groove and Tobias Thomas. The two latter are up for opening duties, and the whole gang will be joined by two special guests, Apparat and Roman Flügel. While both haven’t released on the German label, their quality will elevate the night to a whole new level.

The always on high demand tickets will goon sale on the 26th of July 12.00 GMT+1 on the DGTL website.

Throwback Thursday: All I Need (Roman Flügel Remix)

roman flugel live

2015 is officially upon us, and regardless of whatever happened last year it is now time for another fresh start. But it wouldn’t be right to simply ignore the past, which is why todays Throwback Thursday is dedicated to one of the highlight tracks of 2014: Daniel Avery – All I Need (Roman Flügel Remix)

When you have two talented producers such as Avery and Flügel mentioned in the same sentence, it should automatically resonate that the track is going to be an electronic masterpiece. All I Need is no exception. A lead arpeggio is heavily modulated throughout the track providing a nice rising build up as well as a groovy lead. A seductive transposed vocal saying “Kiss me again” adds some additional life to the track playing in between the various synthetic elements that Flügel employs throughout the track.

This was just one of many tracks that each producer put out in 2014, but it received amazing support from artists, critics, and the fans. This new year should be another very exciting year for dance music, and we look forward to everything from the releases to the parties.
